Field Welder Position

DFI is hiring a Field Welder to enhance operations in Edmonton, Alberta, with competitive pay of $40.51/hr plus a $5/hour field premium. This role requires expertise in piling foundations and mobile welding.

As a certified Journeyman Red Seal welder, you will be responsible for installing and welding both helical and driven piles. Your willingness to work in-town and out-of-town is essential as you maintain a mobile welding truck in various settings.

Experience with SMAW and FCAW is preferred to ensure successful operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install helical and driven piles on site

• Operate mobile welding truck effectively

• Support field operations for piling foundations

• Adhere to safety protocols and certifications required

• Maintain high-quality welding standards

Requirements:

• Journeyman Red Seal certification required

• Previous experience with piling foundations necessary

• CWB all position SMAW and FCAW certification

• Clean Driver's Abstract with Class 5 license

• Fall Arrest and Confined Space certifications required
