Position: Pipe Layer – Infrastructure (Water & Sewer)
Location: Spruce GroveThompson Construction Group has immediate openings for Water and Sewer Pipe Layers supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Edmonton area.
Responsibilities:
Work with Excavator Operator to cut gradeInstallation of graded pipe, manholes, catch basins and any other associated structuresInstallation of pressurized pipe and associated fittings including valves, tees, bends, and hydrantsService pipe installationMonitor and ensure backfill of installed pipeExpose existing utilitiesParticipate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and proceduresReport all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervisionMaintain effective communication with supervisors and crew membersWork collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelinesQualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the water and sewer industryMinimum 18 years of ageReliable transportation to and from siteAbility to work extended hours, including up to 12 hours per day, Monday to SaturdayValid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an assetAbility to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environmentAdditional Information:
