Become an integral part of BGIS as a Building Systems Electrician located in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Focus on maintaining and enhancing electrical and mechanical systems to support overall facility operations.

Reporting directly to management, the Electrician will perform routine maintenance and respond to service requests while adhering to compliance protocols. This position requires a strong background in electrical trades, ensuring that all maintenance tasks align with health and safety standards across the facility.

Your role will be vital for maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute routine inspections and maintenance of facilities

• Address technical and non-technical repairs as needed

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities

• Support and enhance the preventative maintenance program

• Care for tools and manage inventory effectively

Requirements:

• Completion of a technical degree plus two years of experience

• Valid Electrical Ticket with relevant certifications

• Strong understanding of maintenance fundamentals

• Physical capability for demanding tasks, including lifting

• Effective collaboration and communication skills
