This position offers a challenging, diverse, and exciting opportunity to join our Mobile Shop department.

• Perform various tasks related to the safe and efficient application of technical skills and knowledge of a Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET.
• Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including Log Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Forklifts, Log Trucks, Walking Floor, and Dump Trucks.
• Maintain other mobile equipment used in the manufacture of lumber.
• Continually maintain the quality and standards of service to safety and production.

• A valid Inter‑Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson mechanic or HET certification.
• Apprentices are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Capability of using diagnostic systems, Cat, Kenworth.
• Proven working knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Flexible schedule for day, evening and weekend shifts.
• Experience working in a fleet shop.
• Cummins and Cat engine experience.
