Position: Drilling Technician at Island Gold Mine
Be part of Alamos Gold’s Island Gold Mine in Dubreuilville, Ontario, as a Drilling Technician. This position focuses on safe drill operations in one of Canada’s premier gold mines.

As a Technician, Mine Operations – Driller, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various drill equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. The role includes monitoring machinery, addressing issues proactively, and adhering to operational standards. Candidates should have a background in mining or similar environments along with effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate diverse drills and related machinery

• Report faults and potential hazards effectively

• Conduct pre- and post-operation safety checks

• Follow standard procedures and guidelines

• Implement corrective measures for safety compliance

Requirements:

• Experience in mine operations or heavy industry

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Experience with Sandvik drills is a plus

• Valid driver’s license essential
