West Fraser is seeking a committed Millwright to enhance their High Prairie division. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, repair machinery, and operate lifting devices while adhering to safety protocols. Candidates with sawmill experience and those currently apprentices are encouraged to apply, emphasizing mechanical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance on conveyors and machinery

• Operate hoisting devices for equipment assembly and installation

• Repair hydraulic systems, pumps, and valves

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and SOPs

• Collaborate positively within a team environment

Requirements:

• Valid Millwright certification or 4th-year apprentice

• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
