Ledcor Highways is recruiting Heavy Equipment Technicians for their Highway Maintenance team across various Alberta locations. In this position, you will maintain and repair heavy construction machinery, perform CVIP inspections, and address service calls according to needs. Effective participation in safety programs is required for job success.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain heavy construction equipment, including loaders
- Conduct inspections for trucks and trailers (CVIP)
- Provide field service and support as necessary
- Adhere to maintenance protocols and procedures
- Document all maintenance and inspections accurately
- Must be a licensed Journeyperson or Apprentice
- Experience with highway maintenance equipment is preferred
- CVIP mechanic license is beneficial
- Valid Driver’s License with three-year abstract
- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
