Concrete Cutter And Labourer

Concrete Cutting Operator duties will include, but not limited to, operating and maintaining wall saw, slab saw, wire saw, ring saw, chainsaw, and core drill in a secure and effective manner.

• Plan specific jobs, ensure required equipment is available, and lead the laborers.
• Maintain equipment inspections and perform maintenance to ensure safety.
• Serve as a mentor to new employees.
• Work 10-hour days.

• Assist and support the cutting and coring operator in a safe and efficient manner.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Load and unload equipment.
• Perform safety watch.
• Demolition – remove rubble and debris on construction sites.
• Clean equipment and sites.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work 10-hour days.
• Gain knowledge through mentoring program to become operators.

• Valid driver’s license; transportation is required as there is no bus service.
• Pass pre‑employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
• Walser has a zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol.
• CSST
  2020 certification.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction.
• Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, H2S, and Confined Space tickets are an asset.
• Reliable, excellent work ethic, and team player.

Pay: $200.00 – $350.00 per day
