COX CONTRACTORS LTD is seeking a Small Engine Mechanic in High Prairie, AB. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for those skilled in diagnosing and repairing small engines while ensuring top service standards.

In this position at COX CONTRACTORS LTD, you’ll focus on working with gasoline-powered engines and outboard motors. Responsibilities include fault isolation, performance testing of repairs, and effective documentation of your work. This role requires you to navigate confined and sometimes dusty work environments while being physically capable of meeting the demands of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and adjust engines and motors as needed

• Document all inspections and repair tests conducted

• Review and prioritize work orders with supervisors

• Use hand tools for repairs and replacements

• Assist customers by advising on their equipment status

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Physical ability to handle heavy loads

• Required safety equipment: steel-toed boots

• Criminal record check necessary prior to hiring

• Strong client focus with efficient interpersonal skills
