Position: Pursuit Heavy Duty Mechanic Role
Location: Beaumont

Embark on a fulfilling career as a Heavy Duty Mechanic at the Columbia Icefield. This full-time position focuses on ensuring the safety and reliability of our heavy equipment for guests.

At Pursuit, we are looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot our fleet, including Ice Explorers and motor coaches.

Your role is vital for the success of our adventure services, contributing to a safe experience for all visitors. If you enjoy working in challenging outdoor conditions, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment issues

• Conduct preventative maintenance on vital machinery

• Maintain cleanliness in the work environment

• Record daily work orders and administrative tasks

• Guide apprentice mechanics in their training

Requirements:

• Valid Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman certification

• Experience with diesel engines, preferably Detroit or CAT

• Class 1, 2, or 3 driver’s license is beneficial

• Own tools necessary for repairs

• Must enjoy working outdoors and in teams
