We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various heavy-duty equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on heavy-duty machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and fluid replacements.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems on heavy machinery.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in heavy-duty mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
