Equipment Operator at Bird Nason

Join Bird Nason Contracting Group as an Equipment Operator. This role focuses on safe equipment operation, planning activities, and maintaining operational schedules on-site at Beverly Heights.

As an Equipment Operator, you will work Monday through Friday, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' and industry safety standards. You’ll operate heavy machinery in tight spaces and near overhead utilities, while maintaining and cleaning equipment as needed. We seek individuals with a strong safety mindset and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment according to safety regulations

• Plan operational activities to prevent delays

• Work in proximity to workers and utilities safely

• Maintain, clean, and fuel equipment regularly

• Follow proper workplace safety protocols

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Certificate

• Completion of CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015

• Fall Protection and MEWP certifications

• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety measures

• Ability to lift and handle loads up to 50lbs
