Millwright Journeyperson Night Shift

Step into a crucial role as a Night Shift Journeyperson Millwright with FDI Services Inc. at Edmonton’s Waste Management Centre. Drive equipment excellence during your 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM.
We are currently looking for three qualified millwrights to ensure smooth facility operations through diligent maintenance and repair work. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical abilities and hands-on skills. You’ll be performing precise adjustments, preventative maintenance, and fabrication tasks efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams for repairs

• Operate dollies and rigging tools for heavy equipment

• Fit bearings and align shafts within tolerances

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs based on analysis

• Engage in tack welding and manage part inventories
Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Alberta driver’s license

• Strong problem-solving and manual dexterity required

• Capability to work at heights and under physical demands

• Must demonstrate self-sufficiency in performance

• Millwright JM certificate from recognized authority
