HET Field Technician at Wajax

Location: St. Albert

Join Wajax as an HET Field Technician, providing exceptional service and technical expertise on-site or roadside for heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Showcase your skills in diagnosing and fixing gasoline and diesel engines.

In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and service heavy equipment components while establishing strong relationships with customers. With 2-3 years of experience, you will communicate repair needs and complete service paperwork. Your mechanical aptitude will be critical for reconditioning and remanufacturing components effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose equipment components for servicing needs

• Communicate with customers for repair authorization

• Service and repair equipment both onsite and in-shop

• Update service records and fill out warranty information

• Participate in Health & Safety Training and compliance

Requirements:

• Trade certification or Red Seal Journeyman status

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

• Willingness to engage in ongoing training
