FMP Group is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic to join their maintenance team in Redwater, Alberta. This long-term position offers a 9/80 work schedule with competitive pay of $51/hour.
As part of FMP Group’s maintenance operations, you will support the plant’s mechanical systems and rotating equipment. Ideal candidates must have extensive experience in plant maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Your role is crucial in ensuring equipment reliability and safety, making minimal downtime a priority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings accurately
• Install, align, and maintain industrial machinery
• Repair pumps, conveyors, fans, and generators
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Operate hoisting devices for machinery positioning
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certification
• Previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work safely and adapt to changing scopes
