Role Summary
PTW is seeking local Electrical Journeypersons to join our team in Whitecourt, AB. This role involves construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipmentPerform construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projectsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsConduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and electrical codesComplete job documentation, reports, and required project records accuratelyCollaborate with supervisors, project teams, and other trades to support successful project executionMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environmentQualifications / Requirements
Must be an indentured and certified Electrical JourneypersonConstruction and maintenance electrical experience requiredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a teamReliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctualityExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to workplace safetyValid safety certifications required: CSO Standard First Aid TDG WHMIS ESC Fall Protection H2S AliveValid Class 5 Driver's License requiredMust be authorized to work in CanadaMust be local to Whitecourt or within commuting distance, or willing to relocateCompensation & Benefits
