We are partnered with a growing organization in the HVAC industry, seeking a Service Technician to join their Edmonton-based service team. This role is ideal for a hands-on, technically strong individual who enjoys
problem-solving,
customer interaction, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Commissioning Technician will provide post-sales technical support, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting services for HVAC equipment across a range of manufacturers. Work will include both on-site service (primarily within Alberta), office-based coordination and reporting and occasional international travel for product training.
What you’ll do:Perform equipment start-up and commissioning of HVAC systemsComplete detailed start-up and service reports for project recordsProvide troubleshooting support for installed equipment and systemsConduct on-site customer training for equipment operation and maintenanceCollaborate with sales and project teams to resolve technical issuesMaintain accurate service documentation using digital tools and reporting systemsAttend manufacturer and internal training sessions as required (travel may be required)Participate in team meetings and contribute to service department improvementsIdentify potential sales or service opportunities during site visits and communicate findings to sales teamsProvide timely, professional communication to internal and external stakeholdersSupport continuous learning by reviewing technical materials and staying current on HVAC technologiesWho you are:Journeyman Refrigeration / HVAC Technician certification (required)Valid Class A Gas Fitter certification (or equivalent)5+ years of HVAC service, installation, or commissioning experienceStrong understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and HVAC control systemsAbility to work independently and manage multiple job sitesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field environmentsExcellent communication and customer service skills, especially in high-pressure situationsStrong organizational and project coordination abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Valid driver’s license with clean abstractValid passport and willingness to travel internationallyWhat’s in it for you:Competitive wagesRegular work hoursWork vehicleClean, professional work environmentComprehensive health benefitsOpportunity for career growth and ongoing learningIf you are an experienced, reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented technician looking to move into a customer-facing technical role and
