Garage Door Installer Technician

Exciting opportunity for a Garage Door Installer Technician in our Edmonton branch. This lead position emphasizes installation expertise and exceptional problem-solving skills.

As a full-time technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing overhead doors while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role requires outdoor work in all weather conditions, with on-site evaluations and coordination with the scheduling team. A solid background in trades or construction will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install high-speed doors, security grilles, and more

• Investigate and resolve issues with overhead doors

• Coordinate effectively with the scheduling team

• Assess job scopes and communicate discrepancies

• Submit paperwork daily, including job notes

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in service or construction

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Capable of lifting 75 pounds frequently

• Knowledge of overhead door installation preferred

• Valid safety training certificates as assets
