Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

Linde is seeking qualified Field Service Technicians to support our air separation plants. The Linde Field Service Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants. This is a challenging yet rewarding job that requires sound technical abilities in the primary on-site product lines, along with knowledge and abilities in instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. The Field Service Technician must demonstrate initiative in handling issues and will also be on call and required to respond as needed.

Occasional overnight travel is expected with this position.

This position will be based out of Tampa, FL.

Scope:

Employees in this role will solve field site issues, maintain, and operate the air separation plant, as well as have customer interaction on a variety of production plant types. The plants are located at customer sites and are typically less than an hour drive from the home location. The technician works with minimal supervision and has primary responsibility for their assigned locations.

The employee develops conceptual solutions to moderately difficult, non-routine issues/problems and provides guidance on technical support for projects. Strong communication skills are required both written and verbal.
