- Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Repair roofing systems
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings
