Position: Field Technician I for Data Centers
Advance your technical skills as a Field Technician I, providing critical support in data centers and Points of Presence (POPs) for Astreya. Coordinate installations and repairs while ensuring top-tier service quality.

In this role, you'll travel to various locations to assist with physical installations, repairs, and maintenance in telecommunications environments. You'll be instrumental in managing local vendor compliance and ensuring the highest quality standards across all assigned areas. A keen understanding of data center infrastructures, fiber optics, and telecommunications procedures is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain quality standards in data centers and POPs

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance activities

• Assist with card replacements and software upgrades

• Conduct site surveys for network builds and deployments

• Manage local subcontractors for compliance and standards

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with data center infrastructures and telecom equipment

• 0-2 years’ relevant experience or training

• Understanding of telecom testing standards and procedures

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
