Skid Steer Operator; Civil

Position: Skid Steer Operator (Civil)
Heavy Equipment Operator (Water & Sewer)  Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator to work on underground / water & sewer projects located in Edmonton. Duties include (but are not limited to):
Installation of underground utilities in close proximity to existing utilities and in existing residential / commercial areas
Adherence to legislation for excavation and trenching requirements
Operate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment
Ensure work is always done safely, to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong production
Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program
Daily equipment inspections and maintenance
Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience
Experience working in congested areas
Finish experience is required
Exceptionally safety conscious
Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent / foreman
Ability to operate other equipment is an asset
Strong communication skills
Required

Certifications:

CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
Ground Disturbance Level 2
