Mid to Senior AV Installer

Join Matrix as a mid to senior-level AV Installer in Edmonton, where you'll play a key role in implementing audiovisual systems. Collaborate, mentor, and ensure high-quality installations across various environments.

In this position, you’ll work closely with both junior installers and clients, ensuring efficient project completion in conference rooms, classrooms, and flexible meeting spaces. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project documents, performing installations, and maintaining open communication with management. Ideal candidates will possess some AV installation experience and a strong understanding of low voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project materials and prepare for site activities

• Install low voltage audio-visual systems and equipment

• Pull cables, solder, and terminate various connections

• Communicate daily status updates to the project team

• Mentor junior installers to enhance their skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of AV integration experience

• Effective communication skills with teammates

• Familiarity with electronic schematics

• Willingness to travel for projects

• Safety certifications like WHMIS required
