Join the team at Nason Contracting Group Ltd. as an Excavator Operator, where you'll work a 5 on, 2 off schedule. Ideal candidates will possess valid Excavator Operator certification and ideally have additional certifications.
Your role includes operating excavators safely following industry standards while executing a variety of support tasks for site preparation and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators and equipment safely and effectively
• Conduct trenching, back filling, and grading activities
• Assist with duct bank installation and grounding grid setups
• Prepare foundations and equipment pads for substations
• Perform regular equipment inspections and minor maintenance
Requirements:
• Valid Excavator Operator certification
• Preferred certifications:
Telehandler, CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and site hazards
• Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal
• Experience operating in confined areas around utilities
