Location: Leduc
Become a licensed Bricklayer with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in a full-time day shift role. Contribute to community infrastructure while earning $48.12 per hour plus trade premiums.
The TTC seeks a skilled Bricklayer (401-A) to join its maintenance team. This position involves preparing and laying bricks, stones, and concrete blocks, as well as ensuring compliance with disability accommodation standards. The workweek consists of 40 hours, with weekends off, promoting a balanced professional life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and lay various masonry materials
• Install fire brick in boilers and furnaces
• Ensure respect and dignity towards all passengers
• Conduct repairs and constructions of walls and partitions
• Comply with safety regulations and training requirements
Requirements:
• Valid Brick & Stone Mason Certificate (401-A)
• Completed Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions
• Valid Ontario class “G” driver’s license
• Commitment to Ontario Human Rights Code compliance
Deliver expert masonry skills and contribute to TTC's mission of enhancing community services.
