Water and Sewer Pipelayer

Join Thompson Construction Group as a Water and Sewer Pipelayer in Edmonton. This full-time position focuses on pipe installation for land development and subdivision projects with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will work closely with Excavator Operators and other team members to ensure the proper installation of graded pipes, manholes, and associated structures. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in the water and sewer industry. This role involves physically demanding work outdoors, requiring effective communication and collaboration to meet tight project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Excavator Operator to cut grade

• Install graded pipe and related structures

• Set up pressurized pipes and fittings

• Monitor backfill of installed utilities

• Participate in daily safety meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in water and sewer industry

• At least 18 years of age

• Reliable transportation to site

• Ability to work extended hours as needed

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset
