AV Installation Technician

Become a crucial part of our Edmonton team's success as an AV Installation Technician. Specialize in audiovisual system setups while leading junior installers in a collaborative environment.

This mid to senior role is focused on onsite installations, from wiring to equipment setup in conference rooms and classrooms. You’ll ensure systems function correctly, troubleshoot effectively, and mentor less experienced technicians, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review materials and project plans before installation

• Execute comprehensive audiovisual installations

• Read and interpret engineering schematics for system accuracy

• Troubleshoot and resolve AV challenges efficiently

• Maintain ongoing communication with project leads

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in AV integration

• Preferred education in Electronics or a related field

• Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, or AMX systems

• Hold Avixa CTS/CTS-I certifications

• Must pass safety protocols and lift requirements
