Corrosion Technologies is involved in the design, application and maintenance of cathodic protection and AC mitigation systems to control corrosion on metallic structures that are in contact with an electrolyte such as soil or water. We provide service to all Western Canada.
Corrosion Technologies has been in the Cathodic Protection business for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on our quality, efficiency, and integrity of the services we provide.
The applicant must have relevant technical abilities and independent working skills.

Skilled/Required CompetenciesNACE/AMPP CP Certifications Are Preffered
- High school diploma required
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- Technical degree or diploma preferred but not required
- Computer Proficiency required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- A mature and professional attitude towards work and others
- Prior work experience in a field support type role would be an asset.
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Must be physically fit, willing to routinely work outdoors, and able to lift 30kg on a regular basis.
- Mechanically inclined with ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of organization
- Ability to work in various temperature and climate conditions
- Be available to travel for multiple days to remote locations (>70%)
- Ability to work away from home when required
- General understanding of electrical circuits and theory.
- Initiative, adaptable, flexible, and team player.
- Gather all aspects of data for CP surveys. structure-to-soil potential data, rectifier data, etc.
- Ensure all collected data is complete, ready for reporting
- Prepare field survey deficiency recommendations
- Perform specialized continuity tests and soil resistivity measurements when necessary.
- Install, test, adjust and/or repair rectifiers, Impressed and sacrificial anode beds, and CP test points/stations.
