Join the Town of Stony Plain as a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. This role focuses on asphalt maintenance and equipment operation in various weather conditions.

The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a temporary Heavy Equipment Operator with strong mechanical skills. You will report to the Foreman, Roads while performing essential tasks like snow removal, street sweeping, and road maintenance. Previous experience with motor graders and other heavy equipment is essential for maintaining municipal services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate motor graders and snowplow trucks effectively

• Conduct maintenance on asphalt and gravel roads

• Perform ice control and snow removal tasks

• Assist with dust control and pavement marking

• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule

Requirements:

• Class 3 Alberta Operators License with air brake endorsement

• 3-5 years of heavy equipment operation experience

• High School Diploma required

• Strong commitment to safety practices

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in adverse conditions
