Sheet Metal Worker Apprentice

Launch your career as a Sheet Metal Worker Apprentice with ACQBUILT in Edmonton. This full-time, on-site role focuses on factory assembly and installation of ventilation ducts while mentoring fellow apprentices.

ACQBUILT is seeking a dedicated Sheet Metal Worker Apprentice to join a team committed to quality installation work. You will manufacture and assemble ducts for heating and air conditioning systems, read blueprints, and instruct apprentices. With a strong emphasis on safety, this position requires 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and recognition of your skills through appropriate certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture ducts for hot air and ventilation systems

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Measure and mark sheet metal accurately

• Instruct and support fellow apprentices in tasks

• Cut materials using manual and power tools

Requirements:

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate required

• Experience of 2 to 3 years in the field

• Completion of Level two and three apprenticeship training

• Valid driver’s license and own transportation

• Steel-toed safety boots and tools necessary
