Heavy Duty Mechanic for Truck Repairs

We're looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic focused primarily on repairing heavy trucks and agricultural machinery. This position offers a dynamic environment where your technical skills will thrive.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for evaluating mechanical issues, ensuring proper repairs, and keeping accurate service records. Strong diagnostic skills and experience with diesel engines are vital for success in this role. You'll also be tasked with training apprentices and conducting routine maintenance for various equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults in heavy trucks using computerized systems

• Adjust machinery and perform repairs on defective components

• Keep precise maintenance reports and documentation

• Teach younger staff the intricacies of heavy machinery

• Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of equipment

Requirements:

• Must hold Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal

• Valid Class 3 or D Driver's License essential

• Expertise in diesel engines and major repairs

• Capability to handle physically demanding tasks

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
