Power Lineman 3

EPCOR seeks skilled Power Lineman 3 in Edmonton, Alberta for full-time and temporary roles. Focus on aerial systems and underground maintenance while ensuring safety in high-voltage environments.

This position requires 3 years of journeyman experience and a Power Lineman Certificate. You will work directly under the Power Line Foreman, taking on responsibilities that include inspections, training apprentices, and responding to emergencies. A Class 1 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's License is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on energized aerial systems up to 25,000 volts

• Construct and maintain underground and aerial systems

• Train and supervise apprentices and junior staff

• Inspect and test power lines and cables

• Follow safety practices and respond to emergencies

Requirements:

• Journeyman Power Lineman Certificate

• 3 years of relevant journeyman experience

• Class 1 Alberta Driver's License or ability to obtain

• Proficiency in electrical safe work practices

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
