Mainline Excavator Operator

Join Park Paving Ltd. as a Mainline Excavator Operator for the 2026 season in Edmonton. This full-time seasonal role involves safe operation of excavators and collaboration with team members in all weather.

As a key part of our Underground Division, you will utilize your strong knowledge of excavators and implement safe excavation practices. The successful candidate will perform pre and post-trip inspections, conduct preventative maintenance, and demonstrate rigging techniques. You’ll contribute to team efficiency while maintaining a safety-focused work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy excavators on various job sites

• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and equipment maintenance

• Utilize safe excavation practices such as shoring methods

• Maintain machine tracks clean with a track shovel

• Work cooperatively with subcontracted trucks and crew members

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's license

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather

• Knowledge of Ground Disturbance 201 Standard is an asset

• Confined Space Entry training is advantageous

• Strong physical fitness and accountability
