GCS Group runs active telecom HDD crews out of Red Deer and we need an Intermediate Telecom HDD Locator who can hold their own on a busy job site. At this level we're looking for someone who has moved past the basics — you know Sub Site, you've worked alongside drill operators, and you can manage a locate from start to finish without constant direction.

• Independently execute locate duties on telecom HDD bores across central Alberta
• Set up, calibrate, and operate Sub Site locating systems on each bore
• Maintain active communication with Ditch Witch drill operators throughout bore operations
• Identify utility conflicts and ground anomalies and communicate them immediately
• Record bore data accurately and support field documentation requirements
• Provide guidance to junior locators on site regarding equipment and procedures

• Solid field experience in HDD locating on telecom or utility construction projects
• Proven hands-on competency with Sub Site locating technology
• Comfortable working in coordination with Ditch Witch drill crews
• All certifications must be current and verified prior to your start date
• Self-directed with strong situational awareness on active construction sites
• Valid driver's licence

• Above-average hours on sustained telecom project work
