Edmonton Pipelayer – Water and Sewer Projects

Thompson Construction Group is hiring an Edmonton Pipelayer for its water and sewer projects. This role requires effective teamwork and adherence to safety protocols during outdoor construction activities.

As a Pipelayer, you will be part of a team responsible for installing various pipes and related structures crucial for land development and subdivision projects. Candidates must bring at least two years of experience in the water and sewer industry and be capable of handling physically demanding work. In collaboration with the crew, you will ensure timely completion and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Excavator Operator for grading

• Install various water and sewer structures

• Manage installation of pressurized pipe systems

• Assure quality backfill of pipelines

• Attend daily safety briefings and report issues

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in water and sewer

• At least 18 years of age

• Transportation available to site

• Willingness to work extended hours

• Class 5 Driver’s License is a plus
