Are you ready to grow your career as an Apprentice Automotive Technician with Kal Tire in Drayton Valley, AB.? We are currently hiring for an Automotive Service Technician (AST) Year 4 apprentice to join our team. We're seeking a motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for hands‑on work involving tires, brakes, and alignments. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll enter a leading‑edge training program, gain valuable experience with the latest tools and technology, deliver exceptional service to our customers, and build a promising future in the thriving automotive industry.
Candidates must be at the AST Year 4 level or Journeyperson certified to be considered for this position.Key highlights of the role:- Work in a structured, consistent schedule in a safety‑focused and supportive environment.

- This position pays $38.19 per hour. We offer a clear path for career advancement and wage increases along the way.

- Participate in an RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) program with matching Profit Sharing (DPSP (Deferred Profit‑Sharing Plan).
- Perform front‑end brake services, shock replacements, and wheel alignments.
- Remove, install, repair, and balance tires on passenger and light truck vehicles safely.
- Diagnose tire issues and perform appropriate repairs.
