Experienced Pipelayer

Position: Experienced Pipelayer at Blackline Civil
Join Blackline Civil as a full-time Pipelayer in Alberta, focusing on the installation of essential underground utility systems. Your expertise will ensure efficient and safe operations in trench work.

This role is ideal for candidates with 2–5 years of experience in the underground utility sector. You will be responsible for installing water, sewer, and storm pipes while maintaining proper alignment and safety protocols. Collaborating with operators and Topman will be a significant part of your daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install water, sewer, and storm drainage pipes

• Prepare and compact trench bottoms for proper installation

• Check and ensure pipe aligns with specified line and grade

• Coordinate with operators for safe trenching operations

• Install necessary fittings and other accessories

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of utility construction experience

• Strong skills in trench safety and pipe methods

• Capable of reading basic construction plans

• Experience operating around heavy machinery

• Physically capable of handling rigorous tasks
