Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 10+ Hours per day, 5 - 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: 9175 - 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements:

• Full Complement of Hand Tools
• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6  ankle support
• Valid Driver’s License

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment

Field On Highway Heavy Equipment Technician

Qualifications:

• Must be a Journeyperson HET (Truck and Transport)
• Experience working on heavy truck and trailers
• Engine Rebuild and Performance Software Experience is Required
• CVIP Certification is Beneficial
• Power Train Experience is Beneficial
• Experience with Electronics and Emissions is Beneficial
• Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
• Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Field On Highway Heavy Equipment Technician Responsibilities:

• Work out of a service truck to support field maintenance
• Has the ability to work on call for road emergencies at night and/or weekends
• Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
• Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
