Join SOUTHLAND Transportation as a Journeyperson Mechanic in Edmonton. You will service a diverse fleet of school buses with a focus on safety and efficiency.
This role is ideal for Heavy Duty or Automotive mechanics who have experience servicing and repairing vehicles. You’ll handle various tasks such as diagnosing problems, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to road breakdowns. Key Responsibilities:
• Service and repair SOUTHLAND school buses as needed
• Conduct regular diagnostic assessments
• Perform CVIP and preventive maintenance inspections
• Manage documentation for all repairs
• Maintain compliance with company procedures
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Mechanic certification (Heavy Duty or Automotive)
• 2 to 5 years of relevant mechanics experience
• CVIP License and class 5 driver’s license preferred
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and technology
• Willingness to mentor Apprentices
