Position: SOUTHLAND Journeyperson Mechanic Role
Join SOUTHLAND Transportation as a Journeyperson Mechanic in Edmonton. You will service a diverse fleet of school buses with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This role is ideal for Heavy Duty or Automotive mechanics who have experience servicing and repairing vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair SOUTHLAND school buses as needed

• Conduct regular diagnostic assessments

• Perform CVIP and preventive maintenance inspections

• Manage documentation for all repairs

• Maintain compliance with company procedures

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Mechanic certification (Heavy Duty or Automotive)

• 2 to 5 years of relevant mechanics experience

• CVIP License and class 5 driver’s license preferred

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and technology

• Willingness to mentor Apprentices
