Refrigeration Technician

Position: Refrigeration Technician - Full Time Opportunity
Join Gordon Food Service as a Refrigeration Technician and contribute to maintaining our high standards in food service. This full-time role focuses on maintaining refrigeration systems and troubleshooting any malfunctions.

In the position of Refrigeration Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of our HVAC systems. Your tasks will include preventative maintenance, handling emergency service calls, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments such as freezers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service refrigeration and HVAC systems

• Conduct diagnostics on temperature control systems

• Perform general mechanical maintenance as needed

• Handle on-call emergency service requests

• Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Must have Inter-Provincial Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification

• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license required

• Proven experience in installation and repair

• Strong knowledge of refrigeration codes and standards

• Willingness to participate in ongoing training
