Position: Expert Heavy Duty Mechanic Role
Join Blackline Civil Inc. as an Expert Heavy Duty Mechanic located in Alberta. This full-time position emphasizes repairing and maintaining heavy equipment efficiently.

In this role, you will be a vital team member responsible for diagnosing issues in various diesel-powered vehicles. Completing repairs, conducting inspections, and maintaining precise service records will ensure our equipment operates safely. Collaboration with operators and adherence to safety practices are essential elements of this job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults in equipment

• Perform essential repairs on trucks, loaders, and excavators

• Conduct ongoing maintenance and preventative servicing

• Maintain thorough service records and complete inspections

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems

• Experience with CAT, John Deere, and Komatsu preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics

• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 preferred)
