Underground Pipelayer at WCL

Become part of WCL's water and sewer construction team as an underground Pipelayer. Your expertise will ensure the precision of pipe installation while maintaining the highest safety standards.

WCL is looking for a Pipelayer with at least three years of experience in underground construction. This role demands an understanding of trench safety and quality workmanship. Your ability to collaborate with excavator operators and follow best practices will be integral to maintaining project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise pipe laying for water and sewer lines

• Set pipes to required line and grade specifications

• Adhere to trench safety protocols throughout the work

• Ensure proper bedding and backfill processes

• Work efficiently with construction team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pipe laying

• Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques

• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Willingness to obtain WHMIS & CSTS 2020 certifications

• Detail-oriented and dependable with good teamwork skills
