Shop & Field Attendant - Heavy Equipment

Start your journey as a Shop and Field Attendant with Grizzly Trek in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This full-time role offers a starting rate of $30.00/hour and follows a 14 days on/14 days off schedule.

In this entry-level position, you will gain invaluable experience in heavy equipment maintenance, preparing you for future apprenticeship opportunities as a Heavy Equipment Technician. Your tasks will include equipment maintenance, adhering to safety policies, and supporting logistics for supplies. A mechanical background is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow safety and environmental compliance protocols

• Organize equipment in the yard efficiently

• Aid Technicians in performing minor repairs

• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks

• Keep the shop and grounds well-maintained

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool experience

• Advanced Class 5 driver's license with clean record

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to lift 50-pounds independently
