The candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, or replacing built-up roofing systems with materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
The candidate will be required to install, repair, or replace a single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
Job Requirements The candidate should be fluent in English language.
There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
The candidate should be dependable.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be a good team player.
The candidate must be able to work candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
The candidate will be required to work in Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional settings.
Area of specialization The candidate must be knowledgeable about conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, rigid pre-formed roofing systems, and single ply sheet membrane roofing systems.
Security and safety The candidate must be bondable.
Work conditions and physical capabilities The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
The candidate must have excellent hand eye coordination.
The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
Own tools/equipment The candidate must have their own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
