Your Opportunity at SECURE
As an experienced  Torch Cutter , you'll put your skills to work in a dynamic metals recycling environment, safely processing and preparing a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials for shipment and further processing. Your expertise in torch cutting, material identification, and safe work practices will play a key role in maximizing material value and maintaining efficient yard operations.

Work Environment
This is a full time position and is located in  Edmonton AB .

A Day in The Life

Follow all SECURE and site-specific safety policies, procedures, and requirements.

Actively participate in daily safety meetings, tailgate discussions, and hazard assessments.

Safely cut and process metal materials in a fast-paced recycling environment.

Apply metals industry knowledge and torch cutting experience to maximize material value.

Operate equipment such as skid steers and water filtration pumps.

Utilize power tools and small equipment safely and effectively.

Complete pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies promptly.

Maintain equipment, work areas, and site housekeeping standards to support safe and efficient operations.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Previous torch cutting experience is preferred; oil and gas industry experience is an asset.

Follow all SECURE health, safety, and environmental policies, including hazard assessments and safe work practices.

Complete safety documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy materials.

Work safely and effectively in challenging weather and site conditions.

Maintain fitness for duty and readiness to work each day.

Contribute to safe, efficient site operations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
