Journeyman Electrician

Join PTW as a Journeyman Electrician for a project based in the Edmonton Area. Utilize your electrical expertise to deliver valuable services in diverse industries such as oil, gas, and renewable energy.

As a certified Electrical Journeyman, you will play a key role in installing and maintaining industrial electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include interpreting blueprints, testing equipment, and troubleshooting controls while working independently or as part of a team. PTW is committed to providing a safe work environment and values reliability and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and codes

• Test electrical equipment for continuity and resistance

• Install and repair AC/DC motors and PLCs

• Fabricate conduit and perform motor terminations

• Size and install electrical circuits to specifications

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyman Electrical Technician

• Experience in maintenance and oil field electrical work

• Reliable and punctual with excellent communication

• Valid driver’s license and own transportation

• Applicable safety tickets (CSTS-09, H2S Alive, etc.)
