As an important part of the field operations team, you will operate excavators, ensuring safety and efficiency in trench excavation and utility installation. Your strong background in construction and familiarity with site hazards will contribute significantly to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mainline excavators safely and efficiently
• Excavate trenches to the required grade
• Collaborate with ground crews around existing utilities
• Assist in placing sewer and water pipes
• Maintain equipment through regular upkeep
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in water and sewer construction
• Experience with road rehabilitation projects
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean record
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills
