Advance your professional journey as an IRATA Rope Access Level 3 Technician with Tacten at Shell Scotford, Fort Saskatchewan. This full-time position offers the chance to execute precision rope access tasks safely.
As a vital part of the team, you will conduct inspections, carry out maintenance, and perform rescues while ensuring compliance with both site-specific and IRATA standards. Mentoring and evaluating junior technicians will be part of your role, making a significant impact on team development and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rope access work safely in alignment with IRATA standards
• Plan rigging and perform inspections and maintenance
• Carry out pre-job hazard assessments and safety meetings
• Document inspection results and safety compliance
• Lead training and evaluation of Level 1 and 2 technicians
Requirements:
• Current IRATA Level 3 Certification mandatory
• At least 2 years of Level 3 experience required
• Understanding of advanced rescue techniques and rigging
• Essential First Aid and safety certifications required
• Clean Driver’s Abstract mandatory
