The Field Welder position with Koch-Glitsch requires a mechanically inclined individual ready to tackle various tasks in mass transfer systems. Candidates should possess strong skills in working with thin-gauge and stainless materials. You will deal with the whole process from fabricating components to safely installing them at height and in confined spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute precision welding on mass transfer internals
• Perform various hand welding techniques as needed
• Interpret and follow layout and assembly drawings
• Conduct on-site small-assembly and fabrication tasks
• Safely install internals in field locations
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in hands-on welding and fabrication
• Expertise in processing stainless steel and carbon steel
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings
• Current safety and welding certifications required
• Flexibility for regional travel and overtime work
