Finning Canada is hiring multiple Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics for permanent positions. Candidates will perform critical diagnostics, repairs, and engine overhauls. This pivotal role necessitates experience with electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems, focusing on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair engines on various Caterpillar platforms
• Overhaul and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
• Implement Failure Analysis and Reuse Guidelines
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
• 2+ years of experience with 3500 series engines
• Background in gas engine and power generation preferred
• Proficient in hydraulic and electrical systems
• Must adapt to a 7x7 continuous work schedule
